Maja Wlazły is a percussionist, a music therapist and a sound designer based in Poland. She graduated from the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz with a Master’s degree in Percussion as well as a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy from Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz. She became inspired by the sound of the handpan in 2019 when she started exploring the instrument–both as a musician and as a music therapist.
Maja currently performs both as a solo artist, as well as with other various musical projects. Her passion for technology and electronics is apparent in her music, which often also showcase her roots as a classical percussionist.
